What did we improve?

What did we fix?

• Possible to make a report for free-agents players
• Youth and newly added teams are now available for search in Shadow Teams
• In Player Lists, the export functionality was by default selecting the last calendar year. Now it downloaded the selected time period
• Fixed an issue on the Wyscout platform that was preventing some agency from being shown on player's profile
• Fixed an issue with the "corners" event on Wyscout that was showing only 100 clips instead of 300

Highlights

• Created a new product Exclusive Youth Competitions that gives access to a list of competitions found exclusively on Wyscout.

What did we improve?

• Improved the send video to Hudl feature by adding a counter to show how many downloads are available yet, if the user has limitation on match downloads.

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug about Player Lists not showing up when trying to add players in Shadow Team from the lists.

New feature - Send video to Hudl library

• It is now possible to send full match videos from a Wyscout Account to a connected Hudl library.
  This feature is available for all customers as long as they have a Wyscout video package that allows downloads and a connected Hudl user.
  

What did we improve?

• Improved the send video to Hudl feature in Wyscout, so that if the user is a player in the target team, he's not able to send videos there.
• Added the possibility to add players to a Shadow Team from the private database.
• The following competitions were added to Advanced Search and Ranking apps:
  • Campeonato Baiano
  • Campeonato Paranaense
  • Andorra 1a Divisió
  • Mexico U18 League

What did we fix?

• Fixed an issue on the season reports list in Wyscout that was providing mixed results in case of a competition with multiple rounds and groups, specifically this fixed Germany Regionalliga season report generation.
• We fixed an issue on Wyscout XML and events data where some team possessions were spread over the half-time.
• Fixed historic data for coaches that were counting some internal duplicated matches, resulting in a wrong number of matches.
• We fixed a bug on Wyscout XML player based where the label 01 "Minutes on Field" was sometimes not reported

What did we improve?

The following competitions were added to Advanced Search and Rankings apps:

What did we fix?

• We fixed a bug on team based XMLs where extra time periods were not included in the output.

What did we improve?

What did we fix?

• It is now possible to filter players in the talent center by age in a more wide range (from 15 to 23 years old).
• We fixed a bug on XML team based where the "end location third" labels of actions with a shot were incorrectly reported.

What did we improve?

The following leagues were added to Advanced Search and Rankings:

• Horizon League
• National League North and South
• Segunda Division RFEF
• WE League (Women)

What did we improve?

• We removed from Advanced Search the unused timeframe index "Last 6 months"
• We added to both Advanced Search and Rankings apps the following competitions:
  • Uefa Conference League
  • Greece Super League 2
  • Primera Division RFEF Spain
    (For data to appear on Advanced Search at least 70% of competition matches must be tagged)
• We updated the content of Advanced Search and Rankings apps, now both applications show data from the same competitions (still on Advanced Search at least 70% of matches need to be tagged)

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug on the wide angle playback. Now the two halves of a match are correctly visualized.

What did we improve?

• Concacaf Gold Cup Competition added to Rankings and Advanced Search.

What did we fix?

• Fixed a defect on the team report. Now it's possible to download personalized reports for teams playing in competitions with active season but without played matched.
• Fixed a defect on team logos. Now they are visible also in the team's overview page.
• Half star rating is now available also for Scouting Area desktop version.
• Fixed a defect on Set Pieces application. Now the team Austin FC is correctly visible in the search result in the main page of Set Pieces web application.
• Fixed a defect on the offset of the wide angle videos. Now the offset inserted by the operators is correctly shown on the platform.
• Fixed a bug where PDF reports were not available after match publishing.

What did we improve?

• We added 16 NCAA competitions to Wyscout Advanced Search.

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug that was creating problems on searching 20k youth players inside Scouting Area.
• Fixed an error that was causing problems on exporting reports in Scouting Area.

What did we improve?

• South African PSL league stats are now available in Advanced Search and Rankings.

What did we fix?

• Fixed the Russian translation of a few player's name.

What did we improve?

• We renamed a label in the Ranking application (Attack-->Goal section). The old "From free kick" is changed to "From free kick shot" to better explain the precise event that generate the goal.
• 5 labels of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the Playlist and Draw application ("Area", "Highlight", "Visible Area", "Goalkeeper", "Attacker").
• 3 labels of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the Event selector page ("Passes", "Smart passes", "Key passes").
• 5 labels of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the Advanced Search application ("Matches in start", "Matches substituted", "Matches coming off", "Contract expires", "Height").
• 1 label of the Japanese localisation has been updated in the App switcher ("Ref manager").

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug that was blocking Scouting Area after playing a video attached to a report both in view and editing mode.
• Fixed a bug on the sharing functionality of the platform, now all e-mail notifications should arrive properly.

• Fixed a bug in the stats calculation pipeline: now "Match Tempo" metric is calculated in the same way either in the Stats Tab inside the team page or in the Matchday Report.
• Fixed a bug in the Penalties app: now the shot direction chart is always visible.
• When the dark mode is enabled on Wyscout and the user searches for a team or a player on Penalties landing page, the letters typed was not visible. Now it is fixed.
• Fixed a bug in the Ranking application about the position in the ranking of an item (team or player) that sometime was not correctly displayed.
• Fixed a bug in Scouting Area: when a player is removed from a team-sheet in the report creation mode, and a youth player from a linked team is added, after saving the change, the youth player was displayed on the team-sheet. Now it is fixed.

What did we improve?

• Reduced the contract expire filter range on Advanced Search. Now it's possible to set a minimum of 6 months instead of 1.5 year.
• Republic of Ireland First Division, Greece Superleague 2 and Norther Ireland Premiership stats are now available on Advanced Search and Rankings.
• Creating a report on Scouting Area is now possible to select every youth player connected to the senior team.

What did we fix?

• Added Russian translation of all Belarus players.
• Fixed a bug in the general search where the competition indicated for some teams was not correct.
• Consistency issue fixed on Rankings application: now the age/seasons components is coherent amongst the various tables of the app.
• Fixed an issue on the Pre Match Report: standing section is now available in the Pre Match Report for the Russian FNL competition.
• Fixed a bug in the Stats section of National team: now all the years are available on the timeframe filter.
• Fixed a bug in the Advanced Search: now in the XG90 filter option, you can select values higher than 0.17.
• Updated Japanese localization.

We released the new version of Sportscode XML

What did we improve?

• Contacts inside the "Customer Care" section in the Wyscout platform were updated.
• Added Liga MX Femenil to Advanced Search
• In historical mode in Advanced Search now we show historical team name instead of current team name

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug in Scouting Area app: the labels now are suggested properly in all the situations during report filling. Avoiding the risks for the users to create duplicated labels.
• Fixed a bug on the Scouting area that was inserting the wrong match date in the reports of some competitions.
• Fixed a bug in the Scouting area that was creating performance problems in the match reports with all the players added.
• Removed TSN reports tab from all the player pages.
• The exported pinned players now have the same timeframe you set in Advanced Search.

What did we improve?

• Added "Last calendar year" in Advanced search Timeframe
• Added the possibility to insert also female players in Agency portfolio

What did we fix?

• Fixed a bug on Agent app that was blocking the possibility of adding new players in the Agency portfolio

What did we improve?

• Added competition NCAA ACC to Advanced search and Ranking data
• Divided Goal kicks in short and long, like regular GK passes (after goal kick rules change, since it's now allowed also in penalty area)
• Allowed players with missing age to be seen in the Rankings app (skipping the minimum value of 17 yo)

What did we fix?

• Fix a date conversion bug, affecting certain matches, played in different timezone, which led to have different dates displayed for the same match, with one day of difference
• Fix a bug that prevented the search to work properly with the apostrophe
• When a player had no birthdate, the date representation was not the same along the platform. Its visualization has been changed and displayed in the same way
• We fixed a bug about Platform notification system where a user kept receiving notification messages for teams or players that were not in his favourite list anymore.
• We fixed a bug on RefManager where any user with push notifications enabled received a notification about discussions shared by someone else inside his group/subgroup even if the original discussion was only shared among a limited number of users but not with himself

What did we fix?

• Fix the list of competitions in the "Add Competition" menu in user dashboard
• Fix the visualization of the month label in the match date of a teamsheet
• Fix Group structure of MLS is Back Tournament by updating its configuration
• Fix the external share feature when trying to share a match link
• The issue that was preventing women players to be added in Player Lists and Shadow Teams was fixed.
• The thresholds for displaying average and accuracy stats in Rankings were recalibrated to ensure a more realistic distribution of players.
• Fixed a case where a red card for a player on the bench was breaking the new events API.
• Fixed a case where a red card for a player on the bench was breaking the match calculation.

What did we improve?

• Updated the team sheet to support jersey numbers composed by zeros (eg. "0", "00") and in general any combination of numbers up to 3 characters.
• Removed the "change in position" column from the competition's standing table.

What did we fix?

• Fixed an issue with the video distribution lists that prevented the users from downloading videos in wide angle format
• Fixed a display issue on the Talent Center and Noise Feed purchase panel that was showing an old pricing model
• Fixed a display issue with the minutes format on the team sheet that was showing third period formats in matches that only included two periods
• Fixed a display issue in the agencies portfolio that was showing some person as Unknown instead of Coach or any player's role
• Fixed a display issue on the team sheet that was preventing it from showing up in the video player
• Fixed a display issue in the MLS competition that was showing all teams in both conferences
• Fixed a display issue on the standings tables for competitions Uefa Champions League and Europa League that was ignoring the current phase of the competitions
• Fixed an issue in the the competition RegionalLiga Nord that was not showing the "Nord-Nord" and "Nord-Sud" groups even if the user hard access

New Teamsheets

Teamsheets in the Platform are now fully compatible with NCAA rule set (eg. rolling subs support).

Minor changes in UI: beside each player's name you have now the chronology of related events during the match.

Wyscout Reports - Update

The new Wyscout Reports Set is completed with the release of the new version of the Player Report.

Our Report suite is composed by:

• Match Report
  Shows statistics about a match, like match sheet, stats by player on the pitch, teams’ head-to-head match dynamics, stats, formations and various events.
• Player In-Match Report
  A page with detailed information about player in-match performance. Shows stats, actions on the field, passes distribution and challenges against the opponent
  Also available for GKs.
• Team In-Match Report
  Report compiled from “Player in match” reports of all team players and goalkeepers that was on the pitch.
• Prematch Report
  Compare stats of teams which will face in a match. Shows teams’ head-to-head rosters, formations, stats, events and top players by various statistics.
• Team Report
  Provide information about any team. Shows roster, player stats, formations, basic information about every match you have chosen on the platform, build-up, set pieces and various events. Report is customizable by matches that team played.
• Player Report
  Shows player career, stats by matches and relevant for his position information. Each relevant section contains events on field, comparison with other players from his league by various stats and detailed statistics packed in tables.
• Season/Matchday Report
  This is about competitions. Report is customizable, it can provide information about whole season or just a matchday. Report shows standings table and play-off grid, goals’ analysis, teams’ rankings by various stats and players’ top-10 by various stats. If report in matchday mode it also shows main info about matches that was played in chosen matchday.

Wyscout XML download - Importable in Hudl Sportscode

An improved version of the Wyscout XML for all matches to be imported in Hudl Sportscode has been released.

Scouting Area App - Improvements

A new improvement of Scouting Area mobile app has been released.

In view mode, it will be possible to tap and see the video attached directly inside the report.
It will be available the video connected to the entire report and all the videos connected to chapters and paragraphs.

New Notification System

A new notification system has been implemented in the Wyscout Platform.
Is located on the top toolbar, and will notify users on:

• Match content availability
• Processing downloaded and uploaded videos
• Scouting Area notifications
• Shared content
• Database updates

New Scouting Area

We officially released the new Scouting Area tool, the all in one solution for player recruitment

• Packaging of information: Easily combine subjective scouting reports, curated video clips as well as performance and career data to provide 360 degree evidence on potential signings.
  
• Video integration: Choose from a plethora of curated clips and present targets to decision makers based on un-biased videos and data.
  
• Mobile app: Don’t waste time on written notes that need to be reworked post-match. Easily create live reports from the pitch, even without internet access.
