Introducing quick filters, a default set of options for your offense, defense and special teams. You can even add your own customized choices, plus create multiple playlists at once.

Edit jersey numbers before you send a game to Assist.
If an athlete wore a different jersey than what’s on your roster, they can still get stats. Just click Edit Jerseys on the Assist submission page to let us know which jersey they wore in this game.

Text and drawings on full videos are here.
Coaches can now quickly share visual feedback to the whole team by adding text and drawings directly on game videos.

There’s now an easier way to create your roster on Hudl.
Say goodbye to tracking down your players’ emails. Introducing invite codes, where your team members can add themselves to your account. All you have to do is accept or deny their request.

Practice scripts are available to view from the field.
No need to print your practice scripts before you hit the turf. As long as you have your mobile device and the Hudl app, those diagrams can go with you wherever you go.

Clips are now easier to manage than ever. You can reorder, rename and reuse clips in your playlists.

Hudl Assist is now available for small (but mighty) 8- and 9-man teams.
We’re ready to give all football teams the resources they need to be successful. 8- and 9-man teams are eligible to receive 14 breakdown columns (and advanced reports) from Hudl Assist.

More flexibility in playlists built from reports. 
• Customize sharing of these playlists instead of default sharing with the owner and admin.
• Send clips from reports to existing playlists instead of only creating new ones.
• Create playlists with individual clips from your reports instead of building an all-or-nothing playlist.

Hudl Assist for 8- and 9-Man Teams
This season we’ve launched Assist for 8- and 9-man teams. Submit your games and we’ll send back 14 columns of data within 24 hours. Smaller teams and smaller fields won’t keep you from having the resources you need to be successful.

New Assist packages for high school football, basketball, soccer and volleyball.

• No submission windows. Once paid, your breakdowns aren't limited to a specific season, meaning you can submit year-round. 
• Unlimited packages. All four sports will offer unlimited packages for both game and scout video. Plus, choose between 12 and 24-hour packages based on what your team needs.

Download playlists to watch from anywhere.
You can now download individual playlists to watch from anywhere. So the next time you want to review a few clips on the way to a game, just download your scouting playlist for offline viewing.

Create highlights from your playlists.
Get twice as much done with half the work by saving playlists as highlights. Add top moments to a playlist for team review, then save them all as highlights.

We’re joining forces with Volleymetrics to help teams improve performance at every level of volleyball.

You can now tag sideline and baseline out-of bounds. This will help take your stats and reports to the next level.

New Video Tools

• Rather than sharing a full video with your team, you can create clips of key moments by adding comments and drawings or simply clicking to save the play.

• Comments are no longer one-directional, but allow for conversations as a team.

• Create your own tags to track the information that matters most to your team with custom tags.

• Updated drawing tools such as arrows, circles and the free hand drawing tool give you the ability to provide more visual feedback.

Redesigned Library

• You can now create playlists with clips from multiple games. These playlists will then live as their own entry in the library.
• Organize your library by adding custom labels to each video.

Additional Updates

• The new Manage Team page makes it easier to update your list of players, coaches or groups on any device.

• The messaging feature got a serious boost with permissions updates.
