Highlights
We've added a feature that automates the tracking process for all clips in your playlist.
What did we improve?
- Calibration points are now highlighted in the inspector.
- You can now hold CTRL to select multiple items on a clip.
- You can now see the 3D tracking status on clip thumbnails.
- The 3D tracking status is now visible on the tracking button.
- We've simplified the object arrangement options to 'background', 'middle' and 'foreground'.
- The timeline will be now hidden if there's no video.
- You can now see the calibration source when you copy calibrations to other clips.
- When you increase or decrease the length of a still, the accurate time in seconds is now visible on the timeline.
- You can now update the length of a still between 0.1 and 100 seconds in the inspector.
- The 3D tracking status indicators are now more visible in the UI.
- The 2D and 3D section ranges are now consistent.
- We've improved the usability of 2D arrows when you move a player's position in a 2D section.
- We've added a note to 'Preferences' > 'General' to remind users to restart Studio after changing the language.
- We've added a text opacity property to 3D discs.
- You can now update the background image of the 2D timer tool.
- It's now easier to move multiple 2D and 3D items.
What did we fix?
- Freehand tool properties now persist in the inspector.
- Background images in the text tool now work as expected.
- When you import multiple clips, the first clip is now selected in your playlist, not the last.
- If you adjust or remove the duration of a still, the playhead now remains in the same position.
- Still and clip frame rates are now consistent.
- The camera position in 'Clip Settings' is now set to 'Center Camera' by default.
- It's now possible to track an object in full after it's been extended.
- You can now use the 'Delete' button in the 'Edit' menu to remove objects from clips.
- We've fixed an issue in Coach Mode where 3D tools were unavailable in 3D sections.
- You can now hold CMD + Shift + T to use the 'Track Onwards' feature.
- You can now undo individual placements of 2D lines and polygons.
- Imported clips from Hudl Sportscode now show the correct name in Coach Mode.
- The timer tool now includes the duration of stills in clips.
- You can now use the arrow keys to navigate frames in stills.
- Studio now resizes as expected when you adjust the screen width
- We've resolved an issue where duplicate beams appeared on new projects.
- We've fixed an issue where you could modify a locked object's duration and position.
- You can no longer track clips if the calibration frame doesn't contain any data.
- We've added 'default' to the 'Move player' and 'Tactical board' duration settings in 'Preferences' to better reflect the functionality.
- Chroma now remains enabled when you navigate different clips.
- The chroma effect now applies across entire clips, so we've removed timestamps from the chroma inspector.
- The chroma and still inspectors are now consistent with other inspectors in Studio.
- We've fixed an issue where an object's border and instructions remain on screen after you select a different object.
- The 'Override Preset Colors with Team Colors' setting now works as expected.
- You can now see when a playlist export has been cancelled in the UI.
- When you export a Hudl Sportscode playlist from Studio to your device, only clips that have been edited in Studio will be exported.
- You can now select the 'Reset' button in 'Preferences' to reset all preferences to the default settings.
- We've fixed an issue that caused errors when exporting clips with stills on the last frame.
- We've fixed an issue that added black frames to the end of clips when exporting video back to Hudl Sportscode.
Additional changes
- We've removed the ability to preview calibration lines in clips when tracking is in progress.
