RMAC and Hudl Strengthen Partnership with Digital Ticketing and Livestreaming for its Fans
Hudl Tickets helped the conference administration at the RMAC and their athletic directors further streamline their operations by offering event tickets for purchase. Modernizing the process to create a smoother gameday experience.
In the fall of 2021, the RMAC adopted Hudl as its conference-wide streaming solution on the RMAC Network. With the launch of Hudl Tickets, they chose Hudl again to help manage ticketing for all conference championship events in the 2024-25 season—becoming the third collegiate conference to use Hudl for championship ticketing.
“Hudl's continued expansion and innovation in the college athletics space made them an exciting partner for us moving forward,” said Lexie Vernon, Senior Associate Commissioner of the RMAC. “What convinced us to choose Hudl Ticketing as our provider for conference events was the seamless integration it offered. Given our positive experience with Hudl for streaming, having a centralized platform for both viewing and ticket purchases was a significant advantage.”
This partnership aims to centralize the conference’s ticketing and livestreaming services, creating an elevated postseason experience and improving communications around championship events for the entire RMAC.
With the release of Hudl’s new fan tools earlier this year—including livestreaming, highlights, schedules, rosters and more, administrators across the country are leaning into the value that Hudl can provide every team across their conferences.
Specifically, as more and more venues across the country go cashless, the need to implement a digital ticketing solution has never been more top of mind. Integrating the digital ticketing workflow into existing tools that RMAC schools were already using made immediate sense.
What Hudl Tickets brings to schools—and conferences.
Hudl Tickets offers fans a simplified purchasing process and a built-in way for organizations to generate revenue. Fans buy tickets on the school’s Hudl profile and receive them via email with a QR code—similar to digital workflows common with professional sporting events and concerts. When fans arrive at the gates, they’ll scan the QR code on their phone for a frictionless entry.
Ticketing is linked to your team's schedule in Hudl. Once your schedule is added and Hudl Tickets is activated, a button will appear on your team page for fans to purchase tickets to the events of your choosing.
“We hope that partnering with Hudl for both ticketing and streaming will provide our RMAC fans with a simplified, streamlined service—a one-stop-shop for all their ticketing and viewing needs,” said Vernon. “Our goal is to enhance the overall fan experience by making it easier and more convenient to engage with our events.”
After every game, your staff will receive a detailed overview of tickets sold and revenue generated, so you can know exactly how much money is tied to each game. Digitizing the process eliminates the need to have cash on hand, creating a more secure, smoother process for your event staff.
With Hudl’s new fan tools, schools and conferences can add tickets in addition to livestreaming. So, if fans are unable to attend the event, they can watch a stream from the same Hudl profile that powers your ticketing via the RMAC Network, home to all matches in the Conference.
It’s cost-free to add Hudl Tickets to your gameday process with an athletic department package, and you don't have to limit your events to athletics to offer digital ticketing. You have the additional option to offer season passes, reserved seating and single-game tickets too, and you set the prices for all ticket types.
“The support from Hudl has been excellent, ensuring a smooth process for both our team and our viewers,” Vernon added. “Overall, it's been a great addition to our operations.”
