People-Powered: Caitlin Kunz, Sales Manager
Control your own career trajectory.
Kunz has had an impressive career at Hudl, and it didn't happen by accident. She wanted to become a leader—so she made it happen. And that's exactly the advice she'd give anyone looking to do the same: own your development plan.
"Taking someone out to coffee, grabbing lunch with someone, always asking questions is really what helped me in my leadership journey,” Kunz said. “The biggest piece of that is just being confident enough to put yourself out there so that you start getting noticed for those exact things.”
Make the most of Hudl’s flexibility.
Kunz oversees a variety of roles including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers and Account Managers. Within all of those positions, Kunz explained there’s a high level of trust, freedom and autonomy. Which is why it’s easy to get the best of both worlds when it comes to in-office vs. working from home.
“I love Hudl’s hybrid culture,” Kunz said. “I’m like anyone else, I really enjoy a day working from home, in the comfort of my own office at home.”
But face-to-face time with her team isn’t undervalued. In fact, it reinforces the level of trust Hudl’s culture is founded on. And there are other perks as well—like free catered lunches.
“My favorite lunch at HQ is pretty much any Indian cuisine. Whenever I see anything like that, I’m usually one of the first people in line.”
Find your passion.
When Kunz isn’t at Hudl HQ or working from home, you can find her on the road.
“Being able to go out and be in person with athletic directors, learning about their challenges in person, and having that personal touch is just something that they don't get with other partners. At Hudl we pride ourselves on our service and being in person.
“I truly believe we’re making coaches and athletes better every day.”
